nice peaceful school bus ride....
A group of girls asked Mia about her toe ring, as apparently only married women wear them, and thought I was bonkers for wearing anklets that didn't match ~ ~ F A S H I O N Z ~ ~ (#crazyforeigners)
Mina, the preschool teacher, was super awesome too! She knows all of these slum families and basically acts as their village-health-worker, going via all of the houses every morning to pick up the preschool kids, and checking up on how everyone is doing. We even met some of her children that had moved on to primary school! Actually they are in several photos that they asked me to take of them hehe...
And then there were R A B B I T S !!! (below)
But I was reassured that they were for selling as pets, and not for eating ! They brought out tiny baby ones too, that didn't even have any fur yet!! But I was too busy holding them to get photos ^-^

there were so many tiny children working... these little girls (above) were cutting onions - the knife is almost bigger than her!!! and below, one girl told us how she had just had her 6th miscarriage :(
